Nature Tours are ideal for getting outside, visiting the ecology and plants in person, with rich sensory experiences, which are enjoyable and relaxing ways to learn, be curious and inquisitive. You can let us know you & your group’s interests and we can focus the tour in those areas.
For larger groups and at certain locations, additional experts can be requested.

Talks

Talks are a good way to fit a lot of information in or if going to locations isn’t practical. Virtual & recorded talks, public presentations, and educational events also create opportunities for exhibits and various interactive options for the specific content.

Talks:
• Educational exhibit: plant parts for touching, smelling, tasting, etc.; displays with local insects; interacting with insects that are safe to hold, and answering questions about them; educating on the plants, insects, and their interactions.
• Presentations: local ecology, native plant gardening, sustainable gardening, amateur naturalist & conservationist information, how to preserve & use plants, etc., sharing resources to continue learning, exciting ideas like new discoveries & current mysteries of science.
• Recorded talks: easy to understand stand-alone lectures about local plants, their features & importance in the environment, and how we can help wildlife.
• Animal ambassador talks: by working with local rescues, show off some of our favorite rescue animals while educating about exotic animals, domestic animals, and the ways wildlife might be interacting with them and us.
