Book a Talk
Talks
Talks are a good way to fit a lot of information in or if going to locations isn’t practical. Virtual & recorded talks, public presentations, and educational events also create opportunities for exhibits and various interactive options for the specific content.
Talks:
• Educational exhibit: plant parts for touching, smelling, tasting, etc.; displays with local insects; interacting with insects that are safe to hold, and answering questions about them; educating on the plants, insects, and their interactions.
• Presentations: local ecology, native plant gardening, sustainable gardening, amateur naturalist & conservationist information, how to preserve & use plants, etc., sharing resources to continue learning, exciting ideas like new discoveries & current mysteries of science.
• Recorded talks: easy to understand stand-alone lectures about local plants, their features & importance in the environment, and how we can help wildlife.
• Animal ambassador talks: by working with local rescues, show off some of our favorite rescue animals while educating about exotic animals, domestic animals, and the ways wildlife might be interacting with them and us.
